Posting here has been light because I’ve been muckraking over at my other blog. It seems that my local School Board negotiated a sweetheart “retirement” package for a school superintendent who, I suspect, wouldn’t play ball with the Board. Now no one is talking, and the good citizens of the community are afire with righteous indignation. Avec blog, I’m trying to fan the flames. Not much has happened yet, though a reporter covering the story for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette told me that she didn’t want to mention my blog because she was afraid that linking to my speculations and hypotheses would expose the paper to liability for defamation. Maybe the paper is a little embarrassed that my blog has been following the story more aggressively than the mainstream media?
