Every year, as part of my seminar on intellectual property law I offer students a number of possible paper topics. This year, I’ve pared these down to a relative handful of things that a law student with a solid background in IP should be able to take a good whack at. Here’s the list.

I would add : “Analyze the US (unilateral?) influence on Intellectual Property”.
Such a topic is rarely approached by US Scholars.

I would add: almost all of these topics are purely academic. Please post a topic that is relevant to IP practice in the real world.

Every one of the topics is taken from one or more real-world cases and/or policy debates.
