U.S. copyright law, in its current incarnation, appears nearly unworkable, not to mention that it does not seem to be fulfilling its constitutional intent: &quot;To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries.&quot;  

Limited times?  Yes, it will be a great day for Authors and Inventers when, in the year 2090, Windows 95 passes into the public domain.</description>
