My book club read "March" by Geraldine Brooks, and one of me book club friends just recommended this very book. Now that it has the Mike Madison and Maggie Chon seals of approval as well, I'm all over it! :>)

Hi Mike - Nice coincidence: the book was edited by my dear friend Amy Cherry at Norton. I can't wait to read it. I think I must have read Little Women about 100 times when I was growing up! It will be interesting to read about how Louisa May Alcott was influenced by and also supported her dad.
