Perhaps I'm just getting cranky in my old age, but I'd rather see the whole spectrum of Olympic events and athletes, rather than just constantly watching "us" in events where "we" win. Her coach is Rick Suhr, who apparently had the quonset hut facility and his system ready to go. He just needed to find the right athlete. Unlike Rocky, though, she couldn't beat the Russian, and afterward the Russian (Yelena Isinbayeva) let her know it. Not only is she from rural New York, like myself (some would call it "upstate," but since she's from the far western end, it's upstate from Pittsburgh), but she trained in a quonset hut under a coach using some crazy new system.
