I just came across a story by NPR’s Margot Adler from February, where she admits to being a vampire book fan and creates a list of her Top 75 vampire books. Do those who follow vampire books agree with her list? Apologies to those who hate Twilight because they seem to be at the top of her list.
And does anyone have any insights on this new book, The Passage, by Justin Cronin that is about to be released tomorrow? It seems to be getting a lot of press, but reviews are mixed. New Zealand readers apparently get the option of purchasing a ration pack with the book to survive the experience of reading the 770 page post-apocalyptic vampire novel, the first in a trilogy.
