At the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Symposium held in Jersey City, November 5 -7, Professor Lawrence Frolik gave a presentation, “Powers of Attorney: Balancing Necessary Powers with Protection of the Principal.” His talk discussed the difficulties of granting an agent sufficient powers to deal with future contingencies while not exposing the principal to financial exploitation.
