Lawrence Frolik on Elder Law

Professor Lawrence Frolik has had an active speaking and writing schedule this Spring on Elder Law topics.  His essay, “The Need for Subsidized, Mandatory Long-Term Care Insurance” is forthcoming in the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public  Policy.  An article, “Paying for Long-Term Care,” appeared in Experience Magazine (ABA Senior Lawyers Division) Fall 2006, and an article, “Estate Planning with a Very Old Client,”  was just published in Estate Planning, May 2007.  Professor Frolik’s essay, “Housing Options for the Older Client,” was reprinted in the ALI/ABA Estate Planning Course Materials Journal, Vol. 13, Feb. 2007.

His recent presentations include “Alternatives to Nursing Homes,” as part of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Program, “Representing an Individual Entering a Nursing Home” in Pittsburgh, on April 13th, and three presentations at the ALI/ABA  two day program, “Elder Law: Issues, Answers and Opportunities” in Chicago, on April 26-27.
