At an impressive and moving lunch ceremony at the University of Pittsburgh today, Professor Vivian Curran received the Grand Decoration of Merit in Gold for Services rendered to the Republic of Austria in her capacity as a member of the Austrian General Settlement Fund Committee. The honor was presented by the Hon. Eva Nowotny, Austria’s Ambassador to the United States. Professor Curran and Ambassador Nowotny are pictured at left.
