Doug Branson on Diversity in Corporate Governance

May 16th, 2007 · No Comments

Professor Douglas Branson is quoted in Sunday’s Dallas Morning News on the subject of women serving as CEOs of large public and private companies.

The appearance is just one of many this Spring for Professor Branson following publication of his book, No Seat at the Table: How Corporate Governance and Law Keep Women Out of the Boardroom. The Conference Board magazine, The New Republic, and The New York Times published reviews of the book, as did several daily newspapers in the US and Canada.

Professor Branson has been a featured guest on radio talk shows all over the country, including stations in Atlanta, Kansas City, Hartford, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Denver, New York, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Boston, and Portland.  In January, Professor Branson spoke at Villanova University in Philadelphia; in February, he addressed the Mosaic Conference at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh; in March, he addressed the Business Leadership program at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, and the Pittsburgh Executive Women’s Council at the Three Rivers Club in Pittsburgh; in April, he gave a presentation St. John’s University, Jamaica Plains, New York.
