Penn Law Professor Ed Baker died on Tuesday, as has been noted here, here, here and here and here, so far. Every nice thing that has been written about him so far has been true, and there are many more things to add. He was a very unique and special person. He was brilliant, funny, kind and fiercely invested in building a more just world. He was incredibly generous. He really knew how to be a friend. This is a profound loss for everyone who knew and loved him.
