UCITA and Net Neutrality

Back in the late 1990s, consumer groups were all over Article 2B of the UCC, which became UCITA, but the battle really got going when the insurance industry, which opposed the legislation, came to play. Is a similar scenario about to play out over “net neutrality” legislation in Congress? Reuters reports that the financial services industry is waking up to the risks of tiered pricing for Internet service. Will consumer advocates have to swallow hard and accept Wal-Mart as a lobbying partner?
