Again apropos of Mike’s earlier post on warning students of the lasting consequences of bad behavior, here’s RIAA’s latest anti-downloading video. One unfortunate downloader describes a future lifetime of bad collateral consequences from being deemed a felon. Astonishingly, Yahoo Music is promoting this less than friendly response from Weird Al Yankovic. All these scary consequences of technology…it almost makes one yearn for an Amish Paradise.

I’d love to find copies of the hysterical antidrug ads and PSAs I remember seeing in school in the early 1970s. This video stops just short of calling “illegal music” the gateway drug of the 21st century. Downloading can ruin a young boy’s life!
