Ah, the perils of being offline! As I’ve been traveling to (and attending) a wonderful IP conference at Berkeley, there have been quite a few critiques of some of my recent posts (nicely organized by Larry Solum’s Legal Theory Blog here). What’s particularly helpful about Larry’s post is how it shows the depth of philosophical disagreement between traditional economic approaches to IP and more cultural perspectives.
I’m afraid the conference keeps us very busy, so I don’t have time to respond to Solum, Wright, Ruhl, Manne, Boyden, et al. till the weekend. But watch this space Monday!
No attacks here, just a “great to see you, hope all is well” from me. Take care!
Thanks, Ann–great to see you at the IPSC!
