A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to participate in a discussion hosted by American University’s Washington College of Law, and co-sponsored by AU’s Center for Social Media, on copyright issues (fair use, host liability, and so on) surrounding what some people call “user-generated content.” “Participatory media” is another phrase that describes the same phenomenon.
